Hi Folks!
Happy New Year!
Our paths intersecting at the hotel in Salt Lake City was a welcome, neat little bit of serendipity. And now, the other night while watching The Making of a ContinentI was reminded that I intended to drop a note to the Ulrichsthe source of the finest fossils of their kind in the world. Beautiful program. The current practice of making two prints for each negative provides me with an opportunity to thank you for your hospitality.

Dear Carl and Shirley:
Please excuse the delay in writing to thank you for your hospitality on our visit this August to your new facility. Everyone enjoyed seeing your material from the Green River Shales. We appreciated the fact that you took time out of your busy schedule and at such short notice. I hope that we can pay another visit again in the future.
Best wishes,
Raymond Sullivan
Professor of Geology

Dear Carl and Shirley,
I wanted to thank you very much for your willingness to receive our tour of seventh and eighth grade science teachers at your gallery.
The overview and historical perspective given by Shirley was very informative. The trip to your quarry was very, very interesting as well as exciting (our 15 passenger van slipped off of the dirt road due to rain).
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Walter L. Saunders
Professor

Dear Shirley,
Do you remember me? I am the girl who came into your shop a couple of weeks ago. I have been doing my fossil bits that you gave me. I am Jenny Steadman who loves dinosaurs! You gave me lots of advice. I have got lots of dinosaur books but I have got one just about fossil fish. No sign of the fossil fish within a fish yet.
Love from Jenny

Dear Shirley:
Thank you so much for all the wonderful fossils. My friends cant believe them! I love working with the kits. And uncovering corprolite is to die for! I got a gum eraser and I am taking my time on my kit. Well my brother got his driving permit and drove me around with my mom today. I used three seat belts, and both the safety grips!
Sincerely,
Amy Bond 007
